Djerriwarrh invests in 40 to 60 companies across a range of industries, that are selected for their ability to perform through economic cycles, pay growing dividends and where option markets are available on these companies to generate additional income.
As well as investing in companies that produce growing dividends, one of the key components in the Company’s ability to pay an enhanced yield is its approach to selling call options over part of the portfolio. These options generate additional income as other investors pay for the right to buy a stock at a particular price in the future. The income generated from these activities is termed the "option premium".
